Lah Lah Land - IMBA Theater

2026

In 2026, I produced Lah Lah Land, an interactive projection for the IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay. Our team at CraveFX handled the art direction and software development, as well as the installation and set up of the server.

The projection spans the length of a 14-metre wall, and showcases a whimsical cartoon version of Singapore, with references to local culture and landmarks. Visitors scan QR codes on the wall to be taken to a character creator on their phones, and upon submission, their characters will be transported to the wall.

On this project, I:

• Oversaw budget allocation, timeline planning, and resource coordination
• Ensured alignment with client goals and technical feasibility throughout the production lifecycle
• Served as primary liaison between the client and production team
• Conducted software testing
• Coordinated with hardware engineers to align on physical installation requirements
• Configured and maintained the technical infrastructure, including PC software setup and watchdog scripts to ensure uninterrupted operation of the experience
